If the session will be at your home, what is parking like? (This helps me to plan timing if I am bringing any equipment.)
What do you hope to have as an end result of our session?
*
Large wall art (prints, canvases)
Wall galleries with a series of portraits
Album or book with most of session's images
Small prints (8x10 and under)
Holiday cards or announcements
Digitals
Not sure, but open to ideas!
Can you jot down a few things each child is excited about right now? Examples include: a recent or upcoming birthday, a visit from grandparents, a favorite game, a favorite song or TV character.... This helps me to break the ice if a child is shy.

Do you have activities in mind that you’d like to set up? Certain memories you want to hold onto forever? A certain expression your child is making, a favorite thing they do at this stage that might not last forever? If you don’t, that is absolutely fine. We will go with the flow at the session. And if something comes to mind while we are in mid-shoot, please mention it, even if it’s just a germ of an idea, and we’ll try to make it happen.
Please list any not-to-miss combinations of people you would like (mom + baby, siblings together, baby alone, etc.).
Family photograph. Are you interested in capturing candid moments between people or would you rather that I spend more time getting a great photo with everyone smiling and looking at the camera? Or a combination of both? If I know ahead of time that you need a fantastic photo of everyone looking at the camera, I will spend more time on it during the shoot!

If this is an in-home session, think of a few spots around your house that hold the most meaning for you and your family. (Your daughter's favorite reading nook, the front porch for summertime laughs, the nursing rocker, the kitchen island, etc.). We can try to work some of those spots into the session for maximum memory-making!
My portfolio is the most effective and honest tool that I have to advertise my small business to potential clients. Do you I have your permission to use highlights from our session on my online portfolio? (If you would like to approve the images first, let me know.)

Who can I thank for referring you to Erielle Bakkum Photography?
